Cindy DurhmanCindy Durhman has been teaching in the fitness industry for over 20 years. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Education from UW-River Falls, Minors in Health and Coaching and Adapted P.E. She has Certifications in Group Fitness Instruction through NETA, Mat Pilates, Mat Pilates/Tools, Pilates Reformer, Spinning Drums Alive and SilverSneakers. She has taught in the public school sector, as well as in private aand public fitness clubs. My Passion for Pilates began 10 years ago when I attended my first Mat Pilates class. In that class I learned how great I felt after class. I was a fitness instructor at the time, and was always trying the latest trends in the industry. My body was beginning to feel the wear and tear of high impact, high intensity workouts and I was fortunate to come upon Pilates. I knew instantly that Pilates was what my body needed and I immediately started my journey to become a Pilates instructor. I have now been teaching Pilates for nearly 10 y3ars and I am more passionate than ever to share Pilates with my students. As an instructor, it is important to me that every student feels connected in my class. One of the things I love about Pilates is it is appropriate for all fitness levels. Each movement can be preformed in modified, or more challenging manner so every student can follow along in the program and work at their own level. Every student can leave class feeling taller, stronger and less stressed than when they walked in the door. |
